Ambassadors act as the “Goodwill” arm of the Chamber of Commerce, volunteering their time to make personal calls and visits to new members, explaining and promoting Chamber programs, events and activities. Ambassadors also represent the Chamber at various events including Business After Hours and New Member Receptions.
Small Business Roundtables are non-competitive forums of 12–15 business owners/managers who meet monthly to discuss a variety of business issues and concerns. New groups are created and members are accepted throughout the year. There are currently roundtables for retail businesses, sales professionals, women managers/owners,non-profit organizations and health care professionals.
Leadership Chapel Hill is an 11-week program designed to provide an in-depth look at our community including government, the university, healthcare, crime, economic development, leadership skills, etc. Sessions are held every Wednesday morning, mid-September through mid-November.
Chamber Golf Classic Committee begins meeting in January of each year to organize and coordinate the annual Chamber Golf Classic. The tournament is traditionally held in May.
Business After Hours is a monthly, evening networking opportunity sponsored/ hosted by different Chamber members. Business After Hours draws more than 200 members and is usually held on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30–7:30pm.
First Friday Business Before Hours is a monthly, morning networking opportunity sponsored/hosted by different Chamber members. First Friday Business Before Hours draws 50–80 members and is held on the first Friday of each month from 7:30–9:00am.

The mission of the Government Relations Committee is to monitor and make recommendations to local government on issues affecting Chamber members and their interests. The Chamber is also active with regional, state and national organizations and efforts, and helps leverage their resources to the benefit of our members.
