Ambassadors Program

The Ambassadors are a group of professional volunteers from various backgrounds who serve as a liaison between the Chamber and its new members. The goal of the Ambassadors Club is to encourage meaningful participation in the Chamber's programs and services for new members, in an effort to build member commitment and increase member retention.

Responsibilities of the Ambassador include:

  • Membership Retention
    • Each Ambassador is asked to complete member visits (calls when visits are not possible) on a monthly basis. Visits assigned in a particular month need to be completed prior to the next month’s meeting.
    • Ambassadors are expected to attend as many Chamber functions as possible, acting as member relations representatives of the Chamber. Ambassadors will be responsible for seeking out new members at events, making them feel welcome and making appropriate introductions to other Chamber members whenever possible.
  • Promote the Chamber through your daily professional lives
    • Promote events, programs & other member benefits
    • Encourage new businesses to be members
  • Regular attendance at monthly meetings
    • Attendance at monthly meetings is required. Any ambassador missing more than 3 consecutive meetings will be asked to step down.
    • Non-active Ambassadors will be asked to step down, allowing new applicants the opportunity to contribute to their community.
  • Completion of visits/calls and follow-up documentation
    • Any ambassador who fails to complete visits/calls by the deadline for two consecutive months will be asked to step down.
    • Follow up reporting at monthly ambassador meetings must be provided.
