April 14, 8:00am - 5:30pm: S.C.O.R.E. Business Planning Workshop

The health of your organization depends on effective strategic planning. The Chamber in partnership with S.C.O.R.E will host a one day planning workshop designed to help you refocus your strategy and accelerate your growth. Weeks of work will be condensed into a day long practical workshop where your organization will:

  • Identify critical issues
  • Plan to create and manage faster growth
  • Increase profits
  • Develop effective teamwork strategies
  • Organize finances

Organizations looking to tackle these issues that have more than 2 employees and have been in business for at least a year should consider signing up. The business planning workshop is designed and facilitated by Walt Brittle. He has 25 years of strategic plan facilitation experience and has facilitated strategic planning workshops for multinational firms, venture capital start-ups, privately held entrepreneurial firm, and faith based organizations. He has a proven track record of delivering profitable results using his analytical and problem solving skills, marketing know-how and team leadership.

Success Story Comments:

“We were able to implement a more effective marketing strategy, capitalizing on both current and historical trends to achieve significant increase in our sales and profitability.”
~Alfred E. Hicks, Vice President Strategic Development, Edward Weck/Teleflex—a worldwide market leader in surgical clips, Research Triangle Park, NC

“Brittle & Company provides imaginative and creative business solutions. Walter Brittle's accomplishments with STERIS and Surgicot, Inc. are proof of his ability to create value and stimulate profit growth."
~Charles Yartz, Director of Operations, STERIS Corporation, RTP NC

“We participated in the February 17th Business Planning Workshop and I highly recommend it for any business. We learned exactly what was needed to stimulate growth and increase our profits. During the session, we identified several critical issues that needed to be addressed immediately and this prompted us to make some gut wrenching decisions. The SCORE volunteers encouraged us every step of the way. In one day we mapped out a strategy that was tailored to our specific needs and "reinvented" our business model. We left that day with an exciting new vision for our company that included a clear list of things we could do in the short and long-term to meet our goals.”
~Jeff Darnell, President, Wilson Litho, Inc.
