    Central Carolina Women in Business

    Collaboration of three local Chambers (Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Alamance and Hillsborough) to create learning, relationship building and networking opportunities for professional women.     Policy Series 

    Forum where members can come learn about economic development, land use and public policy issues important to the business community.  Featuring elected officials and other top decision makers as speakers, this 1.5 hour program is open to any employee of a Chamber member and is hosted and presented by Cardinal Health Innovations, Durham Tech, and Silverspot Cinema, located at University Place.     Non-Profit Roundtable

    Presented by Carolina National Insurance Agency and powered by Executive Service Corps, this is a monthly networking and education for non-profits on the second Wednesday of every month. Find the keynote speaker topic online at carolinachamber.org/events.

    Retail Roundtable

    Taking Care of Business

    Chapel Hill Young Professionals 

    The Chapel Hill Young Professionals (CHYP) serves members ages 40 and under. Networking events are held monthly, and one event each quarter includes educa­tional programming. CHYP nurtures our youngest members to enhance their professional development and build active community members.     Annual Meeting - Feb. 8, 2018

    More than 380 Chamber members, elected officials and guests attend the Chamber’s Annual Meeting to celebrate the successes of our business community in 2016, and get a preview of the exciting developments for 2017.     Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro

    Leadership is designed to ensure a continual pool of talent for our community over the course of several months beginning in April. For one full day on the first Thursday of the month, 20-30 participants learn about social, cultural, political, and economic fac­ets of our community from today’s leaders. Team building and leadership skills curriculum is includ­ed, taught by local experts. Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro is a program of the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) community and economic development organization, the Partnership for a Sustainable Community. Learn more.

    Bocce Derby - April 2018

    This fun-filled tournament draws 55 two-player teams and more than 80 spectators annually. Bocce players enjoy a round-robin format tournament, refresh­ments throughout the tournament in addition to dinner, a post-tournament reception, awards for tournament winners and winners of various contests. Bocce is a fundraiser for the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) community and economic development organization, the Partnership for a Sustainable Community.  See photos.

    Business Excellence Awards - May 2018

    This awards ceremony is to the honor the best in business! The Chamber awards over a dozen exceptional businesses and leaders for their great achievements in the greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro business community at a dazzling red carpet awards ceremony complete with a cocktail reception, awards ceremony and entertainment, followed by an after-party.

    CEO Summit

    The CEO Summit is an invitation-only, biannual network­ing and discussion forum for local executives. This luncheon event provides area CEOs the unique opportunity to meet, form peer relationships and discuss common business concerns. The CEO Sum­mit includes lunch for 30-40 executives.

    State of the Community Report & Conference – September 2018

    Born out of graduate student research at UNC-Chapel Hill, this briefing looks at social, environmental and economic Indicators on the health of our community. The briefing delivers relevant information to nearly 400 local leaders over a full, seated breakfast. Attendees can expect to gain a comprehensive overview of the health of our community, including areas where we are leading and lagging. Chamber President and CEO Aaron Nelson presents the report and takes questions.  State of the Community Report is a program of the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) community and economic development organization, the Partnership for a Sustainable Community.

    Performance Golf Classic - October 2018

    This day-long tournament traditionally draws 100 golfers. Golfers enjoy 18 holes in a "captain's choice" format. Player packages include breakfast, lunch, post-tournament reception with awards presentation and a raffle, and refreshments throughout the day.

    PRIMETIME Business Expo - November 2018

    Chapel Hill’s largest Business Expo, Primetime, is hosted by our Chamber and features over 80 displays from Chamber member and non-member businesses.

    Local Government Appreciation Reception - Dec. 14, 2017

    This appreciation reception offers an opportunity for Major Investors and board members to meet informally with and show the business community's gratitude toward elected officials from Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Orange County and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, in addition to local government senior staff.

    Salute to Community Heroes - Dec. 13, 2018

    Each December at a festive after hours event, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber recognizes the men and women who are committed to making Chapel Hill-Carrboro a thriving, healthy and sustainable community. The event is free to attend and open to the public. No registration required.  Refreshments are provided.

    Inter-City Visit and Leadership Conference - 2018

    Through the Inter-City Visit and Leadership Con­ference, your Chamber’s charitable Partnership for a Sustainable Community convenes leaders of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community to learn from the experiences of another community, to better understand our community’s assets, and to build relationships among participants that help us suc­cessfully address our local challenges and opportu­nities. Diverse leaders from across our community including local business owners and managers, elected officials, university leaders, non-profit leaders, municipal and county staff, and commu­nity members participate in the Inter-City Visit. All members of our community are welcome and encouraged to participate. The Inter-City Visit is a program of the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) community and economic development organization, the Partnership for a Sustainable Community. Learn more.
